In Open Air

About this work:
In Open Air is a suite in four movements. The movement titles are the poetic images that inspired the music. Each movement is through-composed, though the third movement concludes with music that returns to the character of its opening without repeating it. The movements are mostly independent of each other in their musical materials, but there are a few places where an idea from an earlier movement is recalled and reshaped.
Movements: I - A Calm Before; II - Raindrops; III - Soft-spoken Starlight; IV - Shadows Dancing Under Trees.
