About this work:
Based on a Mayan story of a young man's quest for vision and knowledge. He is sent by an elder into the forest at night with a gourd full of mescaline. Guided by the need in his heart to know, he must encounter the answer himself or die trying. The dreamscape of nonordinary reality changes radically and without warning. His journey to the Kingdom of Mescal pushes him ruthlessly through elation, confusion, and despair, dismantling his ideas about himself and the nature of the world around him.
