About this work:
A friendly but competitive race between two contrapuntal lines that contend with one another while at the same time borrow from each other, forever changing the character of what they are "saying" from being quiet and relaxed to being sharp and angry (?). It is the responsibility of the listeners who are viewing, that is, listening to the race to decide what it is that they are listening to for their pleasure.
