About this work:
Friendship Trio was commissioned by and composed for the Palisades Virtuosi in September 2016. It received its first performance by the ensemble in New Jersey in November 2016. Its three movements express emotions of friendship -- Allegro: the beauty and strength of friendship; Andante doloroso: the sadness of missing friends; Allegro Giocoso: the joy and fun of friendship.
