About this work:
In accruing a CD of my own short piano works (Etudes, Morceaux, and Bagatelles) I realized I had about twelve minutes of vacant space to fill. I figured I needed one larger-form work, something that wasn't less than two minutes long, to break up the rhythm of the recording, so I wrote a "little something".
