About this work:
A requiem mass for instruments, instead of voices, and an imagined scene on a battlefield, with the first movement diepicting a gathering of troops wth their collective prayers and hopes and fears, the second movement a scene of combat, the third (for solo cello) a survivor's lament, and the last is a poetic leap into the atmosphere in the aftermath.
