Liberal Media

David Drexler

About this work:
Although Liberal Media takes its name from one of the great political myths of our time, it has no political axe to grind. It simply borrows freely from many different kinds of music and stirs it all into a kind of information overload scherzo, with a difficult viola part. Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting (FAIR) did a survey that showed that, compared to the general public, most journalists were decidedly centrist in their views and their writing, leaning to the right on economic issues and to the left on social issues. Unlike FAIR, however, Liberal Media will not tell you anything useful about the nation's political climate. Liberal Media will not make you a lot of money with tiny classified ads. Liberal Media will not give you a great aerobic workout, unless you play the viola. Year 2000 Readiness Disclosure Statement: Liberal Media does not use any date-related functions and is therefore expected to be fully Y2K compliant. During testing, Liberal Media demonstrated some nasty page turns, but no problems related to century or leap year dates.
