I composed Be Joyful In God for the choir of the Church of the Ascension in New York City, to celebrate the birth of my son. It is a setting of verses from Psalm 66:
"Be joyful in God all you lands, sing the glory of his Name; sing his Praise. Come now and see the works of God, how wonderful he is in his doing toward all people."
