About this work:
Composed for The Elm City Ensemble (now called Antares). In three movements. The title "E Uno Plures" is, in Latin, the opposite of "E pluribus unum," meaning that from one motive comes a great variety of thematic and textural material. The recordings heard here are performed by Antares, and the work has also been performed by Proteus Five and by the Bowdoin Music Festival.
