About this work:
Psalm 150 is often called "the musician's psalm" for all its references to harps, timbrels, flute, shofar, etc. This setting borrows stylistically from Latin jazz (especially Cuban) and features sections for improvised solos.

Instrumentation notes: SATB Choir (extensive divisis) Piano, Bass, Claves, Congas, Timbales, + assorted optional hand percussion (guiros, cabasa, shaker, etc.) which may be distributed to members of the choir. The parts for horn section (piccolo, alto sax, tenor sax, 2 trumpets and trombone) are ad lib., but most desirable.
