About this work:
Commissioned by Young Audiences for in-school repertoire, Stone Soup is a humorous yet educational opera where the main plot concerns food, to engage young audiences. The core cast of SATB soloists may be enhanced by extra townspeople when available. Scenery and props can be minimal or elaborate. This has been used for in-school productions for 20 seasons, ongoing, as well as other professional public performances. On rental from Theodore Presser Company.
