About this work:
Originally commissioned as the final hymn for Pope John Paul II's last mass in Los Angeles, the published edition is reduced for more practical forces. The traditional hymn receives a very grand setting suitable as the procession or recessional for major liturgical ceremonies. Designed so that the congregation/assembly may sing throughout. Brass available in either quartet or quintet versions. Timpani optional. Published by OCP (800-548-8749; 800-LITURGY). Live recording available.
