Doppler Effect
Adrienne Albert
About this work:
During a summer journey to Italy, I was struck by the sounds of traffic and sirens which punctuated our lunches in sidewalk cafes, the sounds of cars intersecting, and the sirens that followed. "Doppler Effect" came out of that experience. Fortunately, noone dies. Playful, descending half steps, instruments intersecting, a playful, romantic tribute to a wonderful stay in Rome.
