About this work:
Quintet I was written for the Da Capo Chamber Players (their first season) and premiered at Carnegie Recital Hall. It has also been performed at the New England Conservatory in Boston and at Columbia University by the Composers Ensemble who recorded it for the A.S.U.C. Recording Series (now SCI). It was published in Volume IV of the A.S.U.C. Journal of Music Scores.
