"On the Edge of Sleep & Dreaming" is a trio for F horn, cello and harp. There are four movements, generally organized in a slow-fast-slow-fast order, echoing a Baroque sonata. While not programmatic, the music attempts to capture something of the feeling of being caught halfway between sleep and waking when the border between reality and dreaming is blurred.
