Imagine That Time Stops

Pamela J. Marshall

About this work:
An angular piece with widely separated voices and slow irregular motion, conveying timelessness and limitless possibilities. The left hand plays rich low notes against very high notes with a lot of resonant space between the parts. A more active section with bird-call gestures returns twice. The player must keep a moderately fast tempo moving internally so that the irregular syncopated changes don't become blurred and predictable.
