New settings of seven familiar American and European carols - a step removed from the carols we hear all the time: Hark the Herald Angels Sing, Holly and the Ivy, Go Tell it on the Mountain, Away in the Manger, I Wonder As I Wander, I Saw Three Ships, Angels We Have Heard On High A transparent setting for orchestra alone or with optional treble chorus. Can also be done with a vocalist-leader as a sing-along. Premiere by the Concord Orchestra in 2003. Available in 2004.
