About this work:
This short fanfare is dedicated to the memory of my friend and colleague John Swain. The piece lingers at the end, much like the many memories of John we all have. I hope this tune, written the day he passed away and for the instrument John dedicated a large portion of his life to, will remind us all of his dedication, his ideals and his optimism in the face of the most severe adversity.
