About this work:
Charles Jones, major virtuoso pianist of the 21st century, performs this sonata dedicated to him. A work originally meant to be a happy neighborhood music then was crippled emotionally by 9/11. Mr. Jones premiered the sonata March 2007 at Steinway Hall New York City. Later July 2007 repeat performance in Lubec, Maine at the Summer Keys festival. Robert and Jacqueline Norton of Lubec were among the 92 victims on American Airlines flight 11, the first plane that crashed into the towers September 11, 2001.
