About this work:
A cycle of songs, setting various poems by W.C. William which are either about trees or use trees as a central image. Composed after hearing a bass-baritone complain of the lack of duos for bass-baritones. Revised in 2004 for a performance with 2 cellos and 2 mezzo sopranos.
