This is a three-movement work built from five different Yiddish folk songs: Fonye Dinen iz Zerer Biter, Yoshke Fort Avek, Dire Gelt, Jamele, and Hulyet, Hulyet, Kinderlach. The movements fall into a familiar pattern of fast-slow-faster, and it is a fun piece to play.
