About this work:
My 2nd String Quartet was written for Nicholas Currie and the Mariner String Quartet in the spring of 2003. It consists of four brief movements: Fanfare, Reflection, Danse Rêve, Variations. The music is tonal and modal, impressionistic and lyrical.
