About this work:
A 2-track electronic composition based upon earthquake event data surrounding the 1999 Hector Mine earthquake in Southern California. The sonification of the data is based upon a simulated surface set into vibration by earthquake events. The result is a dramatic and terrifying realization of the earth's power. Commissioned by the Eighth International Biennial of Paining in Cuenca, Ecuador.
