Daniel W. McCarthy

About this work:
This is one of the earliest works in the repertoire of Daniel McCarthy. It was extracted from his "Sonata for Alto Saxophone, Piano, and Tape." The sonata was discarded by McCarthy beacause he felt the electronic element was dated. The first movement, for soprano saxophone and piano, stands very well on its own.
