A dark and introverted work written after the death of the composer's mother, LaRene, and during a significant personal struggle. "In Love's Autumn" was premiered at The Interlochen Arts Camp in the summer of 2003 by the High School Concert Band conducted by Michael Kaufman. It is published by C.
