For jazz ensemble: written for the Lakeland Jazz Orchestra Recording "New Music From Ohio." Premiered by Conti Condoli at The Lakeland Jazz Festival in Mentor, Ohio, 1991. The title is named after a piece in wind ensemble literature of the same name, in which the tonic pitch can be sustained in every harmony of the piece. A straight-ahead, fun, rock/funk feel.
