About this work:
Three Songs... are three short pieces; Ditty #1, Air#2 and Ditty#3. Using a combination of chromatic and diatonic matterial for the melodies over a bed of tertial and quartal harmonies, and as in Dity #3, set in a sudo-Sigaria format (alternation 6/8 & 3/4) offers melodic, harmonic and rhythmic interest for the performer and audience, alike.
