String Quartet 3. Oranges

Michael Enright

About this work:
Oranges is 'sub-titled' "I composed here first", as I began writing it in Altgeld (the re-constructed music building at SIUC) only a few days after it's opening, in a room where the chalk-board had never been written on, and it had never been taught in. I was also the first to compose in the room. I made sure to note this event in chalk, on the chalk-board. I should have taken a picture.
