About this work:
Solo organ work whose inspiration was 1) An Irish Blessing for those who feel lost or alone; 2) The survivors of the December 2004 Southeast Asian tsunami. Indonesian scales and melodic figures are prominent within a texture of traditional and non-traditional Western harmonies, such that there is a real unification of the two seemingly opposing systems. Appropriate for intermediate and advanced organists. Premiered March 2005 at the University of Akron, Ohio.
