This fanfare is a short, celebratory piece that was commissioned by Wellesley College for the inauguration of Wellesley's 11th president, Nannerl Overholser Keohane. The theme is based on the letters in the president's name that correpond to musical pitches. The piece has also been performed by the DeKalb Wind Ensemble.
