Commissioned by the Central Hudson Valley Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, this liturgical work takes its text from the Responsorial Psalm for the Feast of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist. Premiere: June 24, 2005, Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, Poughkeepsie, NY at the American Guild of Organists Region II & III Convention, Joseph Bertolozzi conducting the "Bertolozzi Alumni Choir," with Denise Bard as cantor/soloist.
