Sam's Dance
Adrienne Albert
About this work:
"Sam's Dance" was written when my father went into the hospital to have an operation on his foot. I had a Chagall-like dream that he was dancing in the clouds with a cane and his two feet. Hence, the 3/4 time. A charming, melancholy piece with beautiful melodies and interesting harmonies. Audiences and musicians love this one.
