About this work:
Margun Music (Schirmer); a virtuosic fantasy commissioned by the American Music Center for Murray Colosimo, who premiered the wotk and recorded it on Orion LP ORS 80398. Tesserae VII was later elaborated as a work for clarinet and ensemble or orchestra (Tropes and Echoes). Parts of the piece invove multiphonics and simultaneous singing, as well as limited improvisation.
