Aria & parody from Eyeless tears

Waddy Thompson

About this work:
This short suite was derived from a dance work written for Linda Rappaport and House on Fire. The Surrealist texts are by Robert Epstein. The expressionistic aria is followed by a playful, tonal parody of the main theme of the aria in which the soprano sings a wordless "instrumental" part.
