New Music USA
The American Music Center is now New Music USA.
On November 8, 2011 a merger was completed between two eminent champions of new music in the United States, the American Music Center
and Meet The Composer. The result is an exciting new organization that will serve music-makers and their audiences in the twenty-first century.
New Music USA is maintaining all the core programming of AMC and MTC. NewMusicBox, Counterstream Radio and
this site are continuing as key channels for information about and connection to new music and composers. The eight central grant
programs of MTC and AMC will continue as well.
