Commissioned by Alan Durst, saxophone and Corey Whitehead, guitar, this work was premiered at Zipper Hall in Los Angeles in June of 2006. Alan and Corey have just recorded "L.A. Tango Nuevo" for their new CD which will be released on Centaur Records in 2007.
