About this work:
American Composers Alliance (www.composers.com); written for violinist Rolf Schulte. A series of informal variations (musings) on a theme ("Sigol") reflectingthe grace, beauty and playfulness of the composer's young granddaughter Sigol. The material then became the basis of String Quartet No. 3 and subsequently a version of the solo piece for cello.
