Delusional Self

Matthew Phillips

About this work:
The concept of Delusional Self is, to me, both a spiritual manifestation, and a psychological phenominon. When we start to believe that even those most insignificant details of chance have deeper meaning; when we see underlying forces at work in coincidence, we are deluding ourselves. But what then is real meaning, and what is delusion? Some might argue that ANY perception of cohesion in their enviroment is delusion; that reality itself is an insane halucination. This piece isn't about the tangiblity, or lack thereof, of reality. Its about the doubt that arises from the notion that all you think is real may not be, and how to deal with that doubt, if its even really there.
