About this work:
Three Fifty-One and its alternate version, Four Sixty, for bass trombone, were written for Craig Shepard. The titles are the cubic inch displacement of two Ford Motor Company V8 engines: the legendary 351 Cleveland, and the 460 once used in their light trucks.
