About this work:
My brief orchestral work Celebration is commissioned for the Maryland Classic Youth Philharmonic (Olivia W. Gutoff, Artistic Director and Conductor) in 2004, to celebrate the opening of The Music and Arts Education Center at Strathmore, Rockville, MD. It's a bright, cheering, vivid and energetic piece for youth orchestra, premiered by the MCYP at the Center on March 12, 2005, conducted by Olivia Gutoff.
