"Interchangeable Parts" is a short, virtuosic moto perpetuo for chamber orchestra. Its title is reflective of its insistent pulse, repeated rhythmic and melodic fragments and gradually accumulating sound mass. Rube Goldberg tries his hand at American minimalism.
