About this work:
A four movement work in a contemporary idiom that is complete as written for two violins but which may also be performed with a cello and/or a harpsichord as if a cellist and/or a harpsichordist had walked in and were invited to improvise on their instruments in response to what they were hearing the two violinists playing. The spirit though not the musical language is that of the trio sonata of the Baroque era.
