A companion to Duologue 18 and may be performed by itself or after Duologue 18. Vigorous in character, often, but not always, intense. Both parts, for clarinet and for guitar, employ a 20th century, more or less chromatic idiom, and therefore will need more rehearsal time than music written in a familiar traditional idiom.
