About this work:
Based on poems of travel by Robert Louis Stevenson, these four choruses for men's chorus won the Windy City Men's Chorus composition competition in 1988. The score here is the 4th of four songs. The complete score is available on request. There is also posted a sound file created using Sibelius software, which gives a general approximation of the sound of the piece.

Instrumentation notes: The number of voices need not be exact, but a chorus of at least this size is preferred. Ideally, it would be performed with a large men's chorus. Original version was accompanied by 3 horns and bassoon.
