About this work:
This work was composed in response to the events of 9/11 and was premiered at Queens College, April 18, 2002.
This setting of Walt Whitman's poem "Roaming in Thought Over the Universe" is for women's chorus (sopranos and altos)with piano accompaniment. It may,however, be performed by a solo soprano and solo mezzo-soprano.
