STATUS: This piece is awaiting the opportunity for a premiere performance by a double choir and is dedicated to the men and women who lost their lives to the terrorist attacks of 9/11.
NOTE: what you hear in the sound file is a simulated performances (using digital sound samples, etc.). Although reasonably expressive and representative (all things considered), it does not deliver the full impact that a live performance would provide.
Also, since computers can’t “sing text”, the pieces only have certain words enunciated by the choir (the word“Kyrie”, and “Hosanna”); the rest of the choral parts are relegated to “ooooh” and “ahhh’s”. A live performance would bring the full text to life.
