About this work:
This work was award First Prize, ASCAP/Rudolf Nissim Prize 1998 and Grand Prize International Witold Lutoslawski Composition Competition 1998 and as was performed by American Composers Orchestra and is included on NewMusicJukebox through a partnership between AMC and ACO. Other performances include the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Warsaw Philharmonic Orchestra, the State Theater of Magdaburg Orchestra, the Pioneer Valley Orchestra and the State Theater of Baden Orchestra. This eight minute composition was recorded and broadcast on Southwest German Radio and will be included on an upcoming CD of the composer's works on Albany Records.
