The Desolation of the Soul uses non-traditional notation. Players are asked to perform sounds for amounts of times, or in tempi different than the other players. The piece is dry in nature. It would be excellent for slow choreography. It is available on rental from the composer. Recording by Qvartet 18.25, Boulder, Colorado.
