About this work:
A cello trio commissioned by the Schubert Club for the Kosower Trio (father Paul, son Mark, and daughter Paula Kosower) of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. The subtext of the composition is the power relationship between parent and children with, ultimately, the overthrow of authority and independence of all three "voices."
