Nocturnal Whispers

About this work:
Nocturnal Whispers is a one-movement work inspired by the Ohio River valley, where I grew up. In this piece I capture the sounds one hears echoing between the hills on the river at night. I've heard those sounds my entire life, but it wasn't until the spring of 2009 that I realized how musical they actual are, and I decided that I would find a way to recreate that landscape in my own music.
